How to vote in Wisconsin!
Important note - ONLINE and PAPER registration for the November 2020 Election has ENDED. (The deadline was October 14, 2020.) If you mail a paper form, or register at the online registration site now, you will be registering for the NEXT election AFTER November 3, 2020. See below for how to register now.

Can you answer YES to the following?
If so, you are eligible to vote in Wisconsin!
- I’m a US Citizen
- I’ll be at least 18 years old by the next general election
- I will have resided
at my current address for at least 28 days prior to the election
- I’m NOT currently serving any portion of a felony
sentence, including probation
- I have NOT been adjudicated incompetent to vote by a judge
Step 3. If you need to, register to vote or fix your registration.
By
October 30, 2020:
Register in person at your municipal clerk's office. (You may be able to vote at the same time.)
On
November 3, 2020 (Election Day):
Register and vote at the same time at your polling place.
(All registration for the November 2020 Election is IN PERSON now. The deadline for online and paper registration for the November 2020 election has ENDED.)

Step 4. Choose YOUR way to vote - whatever works best for you!

You can vote a Mail-in Ballot (aka Absentee Ballot). The deadline to request one is
October 29, 2020.

- You can Vote Early - in person but before Election Day. It's a handy way to avoid crowds. Early voting is from October 20 to November 1. To find out exactly what the options are where you live, contact your municipal clerk. (Click here for a list of all Wisconsin municipal clerks.)
