If so, you are eligible to vote in South Carolina!
  • I’m a US Citizen
  • I’ll be at least 18 years old on the date of the next election
  • I’m a resident of South Carolina, this county and precinct
  • I’m NOT confined in any public prison resulting from a conviction of a crime
  • I have NOT been convicted of a felony or election law offense (or if previously convicted, have served the entire sentence, including probation or parole, or have been pardoned)
  • I have NOT been declared incompetent by a court

Step 3. If you need to, register or fix your registration ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 4. Check with your state election office for your voting options: Can you request a Mail-in Ballot (a.k.a. Absentee Ballot)? Can you Vote Early (in person, but before Election Day)? (Click here.)

Step 5. Depending on your voting options: If you receive a Mail-in Ballot, complete and return. OR vote in person (before Election Day, if possible).
