If so, you are eligible to vote in Rhode Island!

  • I'll be at least 18 years old on the date of the next election
  • I'm a resident of the Rhode Island city or town where I wish to vote
  • I am NOT a convicted felon still in prison
  • I have NOT been legally judged mentally incompetent by a court of law

Step 4. Request a Mail-in Ballot (a.k.a. Absentee Ballot). (Click here.)

OR, if you prefer to vote in person, ask when and where you can Vote Early (before Election Day). This will help you avoid crowds.

Step 5. If you requested a Mail-in Ballot: When it arrives, read the instructions carefully. Complete and return!
