How to vote in Ohio!

Ohio deadline to register to vote: Monday, October 5, 2020

Step 1. Are you eligible to vote?

Can you answer YES to the following?

If so, you are eligible to vote in Ohio!
  • I’m a US Citizen
  • I'll be at least 18 years old on the date of the next general election
  • I will be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election in which I want to vote
  • I'm NOT incarcerated (in jail or prison) for a felony conviction under the laws of Ohio, another state or the United States
  • I have NOT been permanently denied the right to vote for violations of the election laws
  • I have NOT been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court
Step 2. Check your voter registration - you can do it ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 3. If you need to, register to vote or fix your registration - you can do it ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 4. Choose YOUR way to vote - whatever works best for you!
Step 5. Enjoy voting!! If you requested an Absentee Ballot, read the instructions carefully when it arrives. Complete and return! Or, if you prefer to vote in person, Vote Early (before Election Day) to avoid crowds.
