How to vote in Ohio!

Step 1. Are you eligible to vote?
Can you answer YES to the following?
If so, you are eligible to vote in Ohio!

I’m a US Citizen

I'll be at least 18 years old on the date of the next general election

I will be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election in which I want to vote

I'm NOT incarcerated (in jail or prison) for a felony conviction under the laws of Ohio, another state or the United States
-
I have NOT been permanently denied the right to vote for violations of the election laws
-
I have NOT been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court
Step 3. If you need to, register to vote or fix your registration - you can do it ONLINE! (Click here.)
Step 4. Choose YOUR way to vote - whatever works best for you!
- You can vote an Absentee Ballot! You must request one. Then you'll receive it by mail, and can either mail it back or put it in a drop box. (Click here to request an Absentee Ballot.)
- You can Vote Early - in person but before Election Day! It's a handy way to avoid crowds. In 2020, in Ohio, Early Voting is available from October 6 to November 2. Hours and days vary by county, so contact your County Board of Elections for your exact options. (Click here for contact information.)
