How to vote in North Carolina!
Deadline to register to vote for the November 2020 election:
October 31, 2020 - Same Day Registration, in person, ONLY.
ONLINE and PAPER registration has ENDED for the November 2020 election.

Step 1. Are you eligible to vote?
Can you answer YES to the following?
If so, you are eligible to vote in North Carolina!
- I'm a US Citizen
- I'll be at least 18 years old on the date of the General Election
- I've resided in the county I'll register in for at least 30 days prior to the date of the election
- I'm NOT serving a sentence for a felony conviction (including probation or parole)
Step 3. Same Day Registration is the only remaining registration option in North Carolina for the November 2020 election.
Same Day Registration lets you register and vote in person at the same time.
Same Day Registration is available at One-Stop Voting Sites during the Early Voting period (from October 15 to October 31).

Important note - ONLINE and PAPER registration for the November 2020 Election has ENDED. (The deadline was October 9, 2020.) If you mail a paper form, or register at the online registration site now, you will be registering for the NEXT election AFTER November 3, 2020.
Step 4. Choose YOUR way to vote - whatever works best for you!
