If so, you are eligible to vote in Maryland!
  • I’m a US Citizen
  • I’ll be at least 18 years old on the date of the next election
  • I’m a Maryland resident
  • I have NOT been convicted of buying or selling votes
  • I'm NOT currently imprisoned for a felony conviction
  • I’m NOT under guardianship for mental disability and found by a court to be unable to communicate a desire to vote

Step 3. If you need to, register or fix your registration ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 4. Request a Mail-in Ballot (a.k.a. Absentee Ballot). (Click here.)

OR, if you prefer to vote in person, ask when and where you can Vote Early (before Election Day). This will help you avoid crowds.

Step 5. If you requested a Mail-in Ballot: When it arrives, read the instructions carefully. Complete and return!
