How to vote in Georgia!

Georgia deadline to register to vote: Monday, October 5, 2020

Step 1. Are you eligible to vote?

Can you answer YES to the following?

If so, you are eligible to vote in Georgia!

• I'm a US citizen
  
• I'll be at least 18 years old at the next election
  
• I'm a legal resident of Georgia
  
• I'm NOT serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
  
• I have NOT been found mentally incompetent by a judge
  

Step 2. Check your voter registration - you can do it ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 3. If you need to, register to vote or fix your registration - you can do it ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 4. Choose YOUR way to vote - whatever works best for you!

• You can vote a Mail-in Ballot (aka Absentee Ballot). (Click here to request a Mail-in Ballot.)


• You can Vote Early - in person but before Election Day (aka Advanced Voting). A handy way to avoid crowds! (Click here to find out when and where you can Vote Early.)

Step 5. Enjoy voting!! If you requested a Mail-in Ballot, read the instructions carefully when it arrives. Complete and return! Or, if you prefer to vote in person, Vote Early (before Election Day) to avoid crowds.
