How to vote in Delaware!

Step 1. Are you eligible to vote?

Can you answer YES to the following?

If so, you are eligible to vote in Delaware!
  • I'm a US citizen
  • I'll be at least 18 years old by the next General Election
  • I'm a resident of Delaware and Delaware is my home
  • I have NOT been convicted of a felony (or I've completed my sentence, and it was not a disqualifying felony as defined in the Delaware Constitution)
  • I haven't been adjudged mentally incompetent (in a judicial guardianship or equivalent proceeding)
Step 2. Check your voter registration ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 3. If you need to, register or fix your registration ONLINE! (Click here.)

Step 4. Check with your state election office for your voting options: Can you request a Mail-in Ballot (a.k.a. Absentee Ballot)? Can you Vote Early (in person, but before Election Day)? (Click here.)

Step 5. Depending on your voting options: If you receive a Mail-in Ballot, complete and return. OR vote in person (before Election Day, if possible).
